The development of wushu has already reached a very key period and it has become a subject that needs to be discussed urgently at present where wushu should move towards on earth and how to develop in the future. The study attempt to set about from the history of wushu's forming and development and take the forming and development of traditional wushu's technology as the subject of study and the documents and materials, experts interview, logic analytic, etc. as the main research methods, to probe into several factors mainly influencing wushu's development and to propose several tactics of wushu's development in the future on the base of the current social environment and the current situation of wushu's development. In the study we discover that the culture characteristic of traditional wushu could all reflect by the forming and development of the technical system, the change and passing on of technical contents, the variation and appearing suddenly of technical characteristic. So we draw the conclusion as follows: the need to traditional wushu and the application to wushu's technology of mankind is the most basic motive force to bring about an advance in wushu; the conversion of the dependent body and the independent body of traditional wushu's technology in right time is closely related to the development of traditional wushu's technology; it is the most ideally choice of wushu's development in the future to develop as the great wushu mode; to scrutinize traditional wushu and combine the current situation, we think that it is very favorable to the development of wushu in the future to define the extension of wushu.
