Research On Guizhou Shui Nationality's Traditional Martial Arts

The Shui Nationality is famous for its ancient,brave and hard working.The Shui Nationality has rich and colorful ethnic culture,especially martial arts.Through the collation of the previous literature that,At present,there are few studies on traditional Shui nationality Wushu.The Shui People also know little about the traditional martial arts of the Shui Nationality.From the “Qin Dynasty attacked Baiyue” Incident to “the Southern Guizhou Incident”,the Shui nationality has been subjected to the oppression of the ruling class and the attack of foreign aggressors.The Shui nationality lives in the historical background of struggle and anti-struggle,which provides conditions for the survival and development of the traditional Shui nationality martial arts.Therefore,the study of the traditional martial arts of the Shui Nationality and the excavation and arrangement of the traditional martial arts of the Shui Nationality are not only helpful to understand and enrich the traditional martial arts of the ethnic minorities and protects the unity of Chinese Wushu,but also shows the culture of Shui people.Through the methods of documentation,field investigation,interview and logical analysis,the main research contents of this paper are: the origin and living environment of The Shui Nationality traditional Wushu,the illustration of The Shui Nationality traditional Wushu culture,the inheritance of The Shui Nationality Wushu,and the martial arts exchange with other minorities.The research mainly includes the following four aspects:Firstly,The traditional Shui nationality Wushu plays an extremely important role in the Shui nationality.It runs through the whole history of the development of Shui nationality and saves life for the oppressed The Shui Nationality.There are four main factors in the development and inheritance of Shui nationality traditional Wushu:(1)Pregnant in the war,gradually forming the traditional Shui nationality martial arts in the production and life,and settling down;(2)Living in the mountainous areas of Southwest China,we can resist the humid and rainy climate by practicing traditional Shui nationality martial arts and build up our health;(3)Shui Nationality Boxers integrate many Zhongyuan Boxers' martial arts into Shui Nationality Wushu and combine them in multiple ways;(4)Over the years,the Shui Nationality culture has infiltrated and blended the traditional martial arts of the Shui Nationality,and the source has fused.Statistical findings on the inheritance of traditional Shui nationality Wushu in villages and inheritors are as follows:there are 5 villages inherited by Shui nationality Wushu in the southern and the southeastern Guizhou,with fewer than 30 inheritors,the average age is over 50 years old.The inheritance of Shui Nationality traditional Wushu is facing the dilemma of inheritance from lack of successors and lack of techniques.Secondly,the traditional Shui nationality Wushu culture mainly includes inherited Wushu,inherited system and inherited spirit.Originally,Shui nationality traditional Wushu has a rich and colorful Wushu culture.However,only 13 sets of fist weapons and 4 sets of Kungfu have been sorted out in the field.The number of inherited Kungfu and routines has dropped sharply,and theinheritance has reached a deadlock.The system of inheritance is mostly the rule of convention and convention,the norm of words and deeds in the process of practicing martial arts;the spirit of inheritance of traditional Shui nationality martial arts is the will and consciousness recorded by Shui nationality boxers in their physical exertion and in the literary materials of Shui nationality.Third,there are three modes of inheritance of Shui nationality traditional Wushu:consanguineous master-apprentice inheritance,karma inheritance and cross inheritance:This mode has a strong patriarchal consciousness,which makes the inheritance and inheritance small,and the dissemination area narrow and seldom external inheritance;The inheritance of karma is the main form of communication between Shui nationality Wushu and other Wushu;Cross inheritance is a mode of inheritance within the branch of Shui nationality Wushu.Five inheritance pedigrees of Shui nationality Wushu were sorted out in the field work: Dadiwang,Guilanwei,Guilanmeng,Sandong Pan and Songzhai.Because of the long time and the influence of the Cultural Revolution,the sorting of most inheritance pedigrees was interrupted in the period of the Cultural Revolution and could not be traced back.Fourth,because of social changes and economic development,the development of Shui nationality Wushu generally presents the phenomenon of "turning whole into zero".With the death of the older generation of boxers,the inheritance of Shui nationality traditional Wushu has also appeared from lack of successors to lack of successors.At present,Shui nationality's traditional Wushu culture presents a series of phenomena,such as broken inheritance system,split inheritance mode and loss of inheritance content.
