A Practice Search On Seting Inquiry Teaching In Senior Middle School Chemistry Classroom Teaching

At present, the new Chemistry Curriculum Standard being carried out in our country points out that the teachers should pay attention to students' experience and let them realize the importance of learning in their familiar living environment and that teachers should guide the students to discover problems in the real setting and to get the methods to solve the problems. Creating the learning atmosphere can increase teaching efficiency, play the emotion role in teaching and arose students' interest in studies. Therefore, the thesis puts forward the teaching model of Senior Chemistry classroom teaching--setting inquiry teaching.Setting inquiry teaching is that teachers create a special teaching atmosphere, according to teaching aims and contents, and guide students to solve problems actively. Creating the learning setting can put up a "scaffold" for students to carrying out exploring activities. Its final purpose is that students are able to get knowledge actively and develop ability.By means of theoretical research, teaching cases, and the method of action research, the thesis proves on all sides the necessity of the teaching model and the principles and methods. Meanwhile, the writer offer some teaching case, teaching design plans and faithful records of Chemistry class by choosing different teaching contents.The whole thesis is divided into five parts. The first part deals with the importance and necessity of exploring the development courses of teaching and carrying out setting inquiry teaching. It lays stress on the significance of the teaching model in Senior Chemistry teaching. The second part discusses the essence, structures and functions. At the same time, it sets forth and summarizes the types and functions of the teaching model. In the third part, the writer state the teaching methods and channels on creating teaching scene in Senior Chemistry teaching. In the fourth part the writer list some precedent on setting inquiry teaching . In the fifth part the writer sum up his own experience on the course of setting inquiry teaching in Chemistry classroom teaching.
