| Abstract: "The 21st Century is an era for adaptability education"2 , thereforeQuality-centered Education is proposed. Based on the need of the development of both personality and society, Quality-centered Education takes it as the ultimate objectives to improve the students' comprehensive abilities, respects the students' individuality and initiative spirit, focuses on developing the students' intellective potential, emphasizes to form the wholesome personality. Quality-centered Education has put forward new demands to schools, while classroom teaching is the main channel. Thus, it appears to be a problem how to optimizing the structure of mathematic classroom teaching, for middle school teachers.Quality-centered Education and Exam-centered Education are not contrary. Quality-centered Education can help to promote the Exam-centered Education, and improve exam abilities to fulfill " High Score and High Ability". This research has proved this point of view by practical experiments.This research takes Quality-centered Education as the starting point, takes the optimization of the structure of mathematic classroom teaching as the medium, takes the fulfillment of the new curriculum under Quality-centered Education as its aim, puts into practice the idea of new curriculum, structuralism theory, modern teaching methodology and pedagogic psychology, designing " Four Periods, Two Ideas, One Adjustment" (4. 2. 1. Mode) . This research was put on part of the students in Class 1 (63) and Class 2(62), registered in the year 2000. The analysis on these data shows that: This teaching mode do have obvious active efforts on the subjects of students' math thinking, knowledge and skills, solving problems, sensibility, and meanwhile it can promote the students' abilities and scoring evidently.This research comprises both academic and practical significances. |
