Chinese education is a prominent component of primary education, so Chinese has becomeone of the nuclear courses of high schools. However, some serious problems focus onChinese study conditions and accomplishment of high school students. The author sendsout some questionnaires and interviews with some school students about the relevantconditions. The results of research shown that many high school students not only don'tlike Chinese course, even process less enthusiasm to it, but also the levels of Chinesepresent declined tendency. There are many reasons should be responsible for this condition.But the author considers the lack ness of Chinese study's motivation is a prominent reason.Accorder to current condition of Chinese study in high schools, the thesis cams to improvethe validity of Chinese study from two aspects, stimulation and cultivation of Chinesestudy's motivation. The author figures out the essential factor that influences the Chinesestudy of students--motivation of study. Then, the author combines the motivation andtheory with features of Chinese teaching. In that case, it maybe improves the currentcondition of Chinese education. The thesis also presents the motivation theory astheoretical foundation, such as attribution theory of Weiner, need theory of Marlow,self-worth theory of Covington. Finally, the thesis proposes some methods to solve theproblem. These methods base on the features of tools and humanism of Chinese study. Itaims at reversing the negative attitude of Chinese study and cultivation the interesting ofChinese study. And the ultimate aim of this thesis is to improve the result andaccomplishment of Chinese study.
