Geographical View refers to an angle of observing and knowing the world by geography or a kind of way of thinking adopted to analyze and deal with various problems. To foster geographical view is one of the core parts of geographical quality education among middle school students. In this case, the thesis put forward main contents and strategies to cultivate the geographical view of middle school students based on concerning the value of doing it and the current situation facing to us. There are five parts in this essay.Part One: To analyze the subject backgrounds of the times and academy, as well as research status in theory and practice.Part Two: To consider the theoretical and practical value cultivating geographical view for middle school students.Part Three: To make analysis of the present situation of developing geographical view among students from perspectives of compiling textbooks and classroom infiltration. Theoretically speaking, the study on cultivation of geographical view has attracted great attention from geographical educational workers. Besides, to attach great importance to geographical mind and view has been regarded as the main idea for compiling textbooks by the new"Geographical Course Standards in Senior Schools", and the new thoughts are well reflected in new subjects.However, there exists great necessity to further emphasize and importance the development of geographical view in middle schools due to its retardation compared with theoretical research.Part Four: The most outstanding features of geography are integral and regional differences, so geography consistently focuses on the dynamic changes of geographical objects and takes ecological moral education as its inevitable value orientation. In this light, the thesis sets forth four perspectives respectively from the geographical features of regional difference, integrity, ecology and dynamics, which are also equal to the four importance aspects of fostering geographical view among middle school students.Part Five: To give priority to the analysis of major strategies for cultivating geographical view among students by combining teaching cases.
