Penetration in basic education to cultivate creative thinking and innovation ability, reflecting the related concept of the new curriculum reform, quality education is an important way to achieve transition.Geography Classroom vitality of stu dents geography and ge ographical thinking vision to enhance students’ geographic literacy. Will focus on creative thinking teaching philosophy is rooted in the geography classroom to encourage students to divergent thinking to specific geographical issues, boldly put forward their own ideas, focus on independent thinking, the courage to debate, to stimulate their curiosity and thirst for knowledge, to break the mindset, promote cooperative inquiry learning thus highlighting the dominant position of students, improve classroom effectiveness.Through researches on innovative education theory, summarize the concept and type of innovative thinking, creative thinking and concludes with originality, flexibility and divergent and novel characteristics. Under the guidance of philosophy, constructivist theory and cooperative inquiry theory of Weishi County third high total of 161 students conducted a questionnaire survey, from innovative thinking before, divergent thinking, critical thinking and reverse thinking dimensions such as data analysis, found that the status quo and questions are as follows:(1) stud ents ’innovative thinking ability needs to b e improved;(2) students’ divergent thinking, critical thinking and awareness is low reverse th inking;(3) a greater impact on studen ts in geogr aphy class that mindset;(4) students lack the ability to think independently, classroom atmosphere is more boring;(5) coop eration in a ge ography lesson students explore learning opportunities less;(6) divergent, Critical thinking skills are generally poor and reverse.Combined with existing research and investigation found, the corresponding teaching strategies for different types of culture innovative thinking, first, cultivation strategies on divergent thinking culture:(1) strengthen the relations of things, to encourage more students to the issue of perspective;(2) promote the antithesis think about things;(3) to strengthen cooperation in inquiry-based learning.
