Kaiming Bookstore published1932"enlightened" Mandarin textbooks as the period of theRepublic of China enjoy a high reputation in the Chinese Textbooks of primary school education,was a person of noble aspirations to hold high the "secondary education, enlightenment" banner,to explore one of the products of salvaging the country road. Text teaching materials textbooks asschool education is indispensable, is one of the important carrier of teaching content, theimportant element which is the textbook illustration design of graphic design, is an importantpart of the textbook dominant structure. The textbook illustrations show image, text, is animportant tool to help learners understand the content of the textbook, is very important todevelop pupils’ cognition, thinking and aesthetic ability. Based on the1932edition of"enlightened" Mandarin textbook illustrations were studied, cause people to make somereflections on the current primary school Chinese textbook illustrations, lead to the secondlanguage--the attention of textbook illustrations.This article is the author in the National Social Science Fund Project "China centurytextbook arrangement and research" on the "arrangement and study period during the reign ofprimary school language textbook", on the1932edition of the "liberal" in Mandarin textbookillustrations in research interest, this set of textbook illustrations by China’s famous cartoonist,educator Mr. Feng Zikai drawing, its original cartoon art and the adoration of the child educationmost incisive embodied in his illustrations. The author gets the electronic copy version of"liberal" Mandarin textbook by people’s education press China100years of primary andsecondary school textbooks in the image database, carries on the explanation analysis to the setof textbook illustrations, with Mr. Feng Zikai painting and children education unique concept, asystematic study on the "liberal" in Mandarin textbook illustrations.Thesis is divided into five parts: the first part is an overview of the research on the Chineselanguage textbook illustrations, including the problems put forward, to review the relatedliterature, the keywords "" Chinese language textbooks","illustrations", the concept of"textbook illustrations" as well as to the research methods of clear definition. The second part isabout the Chinese language textbook writing background, writing, based on the overview and thewriting style, realize the readers the overall recognition of the Chinese language textbooks. Thethird part is clear the function of primary school Chinese textbook and according to differentclassification criteria to classify the Chinese language textbook illustrations. The fourth partcombined with Mr Feng zikai’s painting skills and detailed analysis was carried out on the characteristics of textbook illustrations unique views on children was associated, reflects theChinese language textbook illustrations in number, picture, interest and colour characteristics ofexteriority, also in further illustrated the meaning of "meaning to pen is less than" pursuit,"shadefitting for" inky skill,"all things have spirit" interest and illustrations, etc. The characteristics ofinternality.
