The study on research-based learning, which is significant to the reform of talent-cultivation and education, is a very important issue. But the level of such study is on the primary stage, and there are still many problems in the field of theories and practice. With the undergraduate's academic level as a cutting point, the extension of the study on research-based learning and undergraduate 's learning style is enlarged, and practice of student's research-based learning is directed.The main body of this thesis can be divided into 3 parts:Part1: a frame of undergraduates' research-based learning style is developed through the analysis of research-based learning's connotation, extension, features, foundation of theories, significance to the epoch, practice actuality. By the questionnaire and reflection of the practice of research-based learning, problems in the practice include that the range of practice is narrow, teachers in the university have difficulty in conducting such learning style, ideas about the values of research-based learning are unclear, and the atmosphere of research-based learning is lack.Part 2: With the undergraduate's academic level as a cutting point, definition of undergraduate's academic level is defined, the importance of improving the undergraduates' academic level is explained, and the value of research-based learning's effect to undergraduates' academic level is discussed. By the use of research-based learning, undergraduates' comprehensive abilities can be improved, including their academic level.Part 3: with the plenty of cases and interviews, strategies on improving the undergraduates' academic level are put forward, which include students' positive learning, teachers' training, curriculum development, modes for students' learning, policies , library, other hard wares and soft wares, building atmosphere of research-based learning.
