College students are the hope of our nation and the future of our country,which is valuable human resources.The core activities of college students' life is learning,at the process of learning,gaining the experience in learning,happy learning and achieving good results should be the ultimate goal of university education.Academic advising is university academic guidance for college students.To strengthen the academic advising is the problems of must be faced with and need to be settled with to our country's higher education at the present stage.Academic advising to college students is a difficult and meaningful work because it is beneficial to improve the quality of personnel training,help to provide personalized education in colleges,and is the necessities to student's growth.Based on humanistic learning theory and the process philosophy of education in detail,the paper put the human-oriented educational concept and happy learning concept of process experience into university academic advising and then form theoretical framework,at the same time,it adopt qualitative and quantitative,literature and research methods and widely collect domestic and foreign literature in this research.The significance of this study is to establish and perfect the current college advising,guide the student to discover the true value of a university and make college students “learning knowledge ” and “having the ability to learn knowledge”.For students,it should be realized that university is no longer “mix four years”,but the place of real gains,and they can be able to calmly deal with pressure and challenges of the future.The paper is currently following Huazhong Agricultural University in 2017 undergraduate students? samples,a class in every grade of 14 college students is selected to fill the questionnaire survey.In this research,1680 questionnaires are issued and 1546 are valid questionnaires,effective recovery rate is as high as 97.29%.The data results show that college students is generally believed that their learning objectives were unclear and do not get enough initiative of teaching information,when they met learning difficulties,they do not actively ask their teachers for help;The lower degree of college students' understanding of academic advising,the lower frequency of course teachers to student's about academic advising,and the working system do not comprehensive enough;University four years have academic advising and comprehensive in content,varied in form,and so on.In this paper,the author conducts in-depth interviews to the dean's office,student work(place),college teachers and management staff,the results shows that the current college advising work be in the condition of no professional institutions,no professional staffs,no effective system.Through the investigation,the current university academic advising exist the following problems: the first is the colleges and universities,classroom teachers,college students' awareness of academic advising does not reach the designated position,the second is the content of academic guidance is not comprehensive,the third is the academic advising system is imperfect.The measures and suggestions to perfect the current academic guidance: it must be enhance college students' academic advising concept from the school level,the administrative personnel level,teachers and college students level four aspects;set up a college students' academic advising system of teacher with branched type,the full-time guidance staff with entirely command type and students with autonomy,build up academic advising system with both operational system and security system of college students.
