The integral experimental research of the infant science and art enlightenment is the grand taskfor Shandong Educational Science and one of the tasks for the Pre-education Research Associationduring the Tenth-five Year Plan. Its' focus is on the integral disciplines from knowledge to quality,which includes the purpose, the contents and methodology of the integral educational activitiesbetween the infant science and art;how to implement the integration between science and art;how tosolve the problem of splitting the infant's cognition and sensibility;the assorted-dishes problem ofthe comprehensive discipline;to search after the form, the content and the methods of the entireeducation;and to probe into the relationship between the integral education and the creativity of theinfants.After five years of experiments and theoretical studies, the researchers have come to realize thecombination of truth, goodness and beauty, but how to fulfill that purpose? The researchers insistedthat the answer lies in the integral education between truth, goodness and beauty;in the combinationbetween science and art. The integral educational experiments on the two thousand and morestudents in the 71 kindergartens of Shandong province tell that as long as the teaching process of tounderstand-to influence-to show is carried out, as long as the science and art educations arebalanced, the creativity of the infants can be fostered, and the infants can discover the simple rules inthe recognition and express the reason, science and knowledge in their art sensibility. Theexperimental results also tell that the obvious differences between the experimental infants andothers prove that the integration between scientific education and art is beneficial to creativity andcan promote their development of this ability;the integral research between scientific education andart education is proportional to the development of creativity.The integrate experiment between infant science and art enlightenment went first at home andabroad deep into further study on the task of the integration between scientific education and artcultivation proposed by Huxley;it is a deepening and supplement for the philosophical research ofthe combination between science and humanities;it is a inheritance and development to the researchof comprehensive education for infants;it is also a supplement for the research on the relationshipamong disciplines, teaching and the creativity of infants.Though the initial experiment it is over,it tells us that such research should be carried out notonly among the infants, but also among the students in elementary schools and middle schools;andthe experiments prove that the integration education is not the Utopian, but the quality and integrateeducation carried out by the basic education. This integrate education can make one be true: tounderstand the purpose of life;make one be good: to know the contents of life;make one bebeautiful: to see the result of life. We should not forget that there is much room in the theory for us toexplore in order to realize the quality education. Based on the theoretical research in the scientificand moral recognition development, the theory research of the aesthetic recognition developmentwhich reveals the track of aesthetic recognition development in one's life will surely have aninfluence upon the research of human beings and the trend of education studies, which thuscontribute to all humanity.
