Research On The Social Guarantee Of The Land-lost Farmers

With the development of economy and the acceleration of the urbanization, land is more and more badly needed. However, lots of farmers have lost their land as the result of land expropriation. They don't have any living and social guarantee, having a social position between farmers and citizens and becoming "farmers of three withouts": farmers without lands, workers without jobs and people without life insurance, thus they have become unsteady elements affecting a steady social development and have aroused a universal social concern. How to solve and handle the social security problems of the land-lost farmers has become a key issue affecting the rural prosperity and stability and has also become an important stage promoting a steady development of urbanization. The essay consists of five parts. It first gives a general introduction of the current situation of the land-lost farmers and analyzes the reasons for the land loss;the second part mainly relates the reasons why their interests are affected and proposes several solving plans with a consideration of both foreign and domestic experience;The third part analyzes the necessity of setting up the social security system for the land-lost farmers on the basis of the second part;the fourth part generalizes the current situation and problems of the social security system of the land-lost farmers;the last part gives several proposals on perfecting the social security system of the land-lost farmers.
