The curriculum of comprehensive practical activities has approved to be one of the compulsory courses in the grades from 3 to 6 of primary schools. It has the following characteristics: synthetical, practical, open, productive and voluntary, etc. It includes not only the designated fields such as research study, community services and community practice, labor and technology education, and communicational technology education;but also the non-designated fields such as class activities, science and technology week, reading festival or arts festival. Its educational goal is to train the students' initiative spirits, their awareness of subjects, practice and cooperation, their abilities of observation, thinking, operation, expression and coordination.Curriculum integration is the inner requirement in the students' development. There are many difficulties in the process of implementing the curriculum of comprehensive practical activities. And it is the inevitable choice for the teachers to face the new curricula reforms.The curriculum of comprehensive practical activities is definitely different from subjective curricula. They are mutual supplementary to each other, but it is not an auxiliary course of those curricula. The thesis tries to explore the study on curriculum integration of comprehensive practical activities in primary schools from the following aspects: 1. integration among the designated fields, 2. integration between subject curricula and it, 3. integration between non-designated fields and it.In short, it is important in implementing the curricula reforms on elementary education and promoting the development of both teachers and students to study curriculum integration of comprehensive practical activities in primary schools. |
