Cultivating A Secondary Student's Interest In Mathematics Learning

Mathematics is playing an important part in today's society, through its wide application in almost every field of human society. This trend has increased the requirement of mathematics education. However, many students are having troubles in mathematics learning, are afraid of mathematics, and even give up making any effort to make the situation better .This is not only several cases, but concerns quite a great number of students. Quality education intends to promote every students' full development through arousing their interests.In this thesis, we illustrate how important it is to arouse students' mathematics learning and how to achieve this. Particularly, we classily students' interests in mathematics learning, and introduce ten strategies that teachers can use in their mathematics teaching.
