On The Research Of Developing And Ultilizing PE Time-space Resources In Colleges And Universities

The issue of developing and ultilizing PE teaching resources was first clearly suggested in "The Guiding Outline of PE Teaching for National Regular Higher Education Institutions", promulgated by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in 2002, which has already attracted much attention of scholars ever since. As a matter of fact, every course possesses the time-space characteristic, which is thus the rule of developing a course resource. On the basis of the course theory, this thesis forwards the term "PE Time-space Resources" for the first time and suggests that with the increasing development of PE in colleges and universities, the research of PE time-space resources is of great realistic significance to the administration and teaching of PE in higher education.The thesis probes into the development and ultilization of PE time-space resources in colleges and universities by means of summarizing and absorbing the predecessors' research achievements. Firstly, it attempts to explain the definition and the classification of PE time-space resources in colleges and universities. Then it analyzes thecurrent researching situation in some main fields which study time-space resources and points out their shortcomings. Thirdly, it shows that it is very necessary to develop and ultilize PE time-space resources in colleges and universities and tries to establish such principles of development and utilization as: the principle of combining body-building and recreation;the principle of combining openness and economy;the principle of combining share and socializing;the principle of combining variety and practicality. Finally, it discusses the tactics to develop and ultilize PE time-space resources in colleges and universities: to open playgrounds and stadiums compensably so as to fully exploit the PE space resource inside a college;to make use of natural geographical resources and social sports resources so as to develop PE space outside a college;to open various types of PE courses during the 4 years so as to reform the PE time conception in colleges and universities;to set up extracurricular PE clubs so as to promote extracurricular PE space;to make best use of teachers' time-space advantages so as to develop social PE markets;to give full paly to PE internet information and improve the working level of PE in colleges and universities.
