Studies Related To The Current State And Problems In Combination Of Production, Education And Scientific Research In Guangxi Agricultural Professional College

Combination of production, education and scientific research is a necessary develop route of high professional college.Based on the hypothesis that combination of production, education and scientific research is an effective and feasible model and mechanism, the current state and problem in combination of production, education and scientific research in Guangxi agricultural professional college was investigated by selection of eight Agricultural professional college as research objectives in Guangxi, and main conclusions were obtained following.1. Combination of production, education and scientific research is an efficient model that was formed during the practice of reformation and development in agricultural professional education. The development in combination of production, education and scientific research underwent a tendency extending form inside of college to society, from surface to deep and from lower level to high level due to the difference in characteristic of each college, and can be divided into four stages: (1) Increase of the college financial income by laboring during study; (2) Paying attention to the ability culture by intensifying the practical teaching; (3) Construction of agricultural science and technology model garden and development of college industry; (4) Cooperation with enterprises.2. The practice and exploration was performed on the model and mechanism of combination of production, education and scientific research in the colleges investigated, and proved to be feasible and efficient. The detail model involved: (1)Combination of teaching-practice farm; (2)Combination of professional and college industry; (3)Construction of modern agricultural science and technology model garden; (4) Practice bases outside college; (5) Combination of scientific research and scientific achievement popularization; (6) Direction culture; (7) Cooperation between colleges and enterprises.3. The successful example in combination of production, education and scientific research in middle professional school indicates that high quality laborer can also be cultured by combination of production, education and scientific research in middle professional school. The technological level, scale, influence and efficiency of combing production, education and scientific research in high professional college may be much better than the middle professional school, so that high professional college may play a model role in certain degree.4. Investigating the combination of production, education and scientific research in high and middle agricultural professional school together, and considering the systemic effects, a synergistic effect of development can be observed. The external factors, such as the rule of law, policy and administration measures of government, also affect the development of high and middle professional school, although there is a difference in the environment condition and developmental ability among various colleges.5. The understanding of some students, teachers and administrators on the combination ofproduction, education and scientific research is unclear, especially on the culture quality caused by exchange of study and laboring. Most of college administrator and teacher think that combination of production, education and scientific research is only a way for student practice, and confuse the contents of teach practice with combination of production, education and scientific research.6. There is a significant difference in the efficiency and degree of education reformation among colleges, which reflects the difference in idea and ability of leaders and teachers in practice of combining production, education and scientific research.7. The leader of enterprise and institute knows little of national policy on the combination of production, education and scientific research, and also lacks willing of cooperation with college in culture of practical students. However, most of organizations have signed agreement with college to colure students, and provide practical bases for students, indicating that enterprise and institute have joined passively the works in culture of practical students.8. The support and instruction of government is the necessary guarantee for combination of production, education and scientific research.Based on the above conclusions, a suggestion is proposed to promote the development of Guangxi agricultural professional education.
