Since China adopted reform and opening up, with the improvement of agricultural productivity, emerged a large number of surplus rural labor force, they began to remove them from the traditional agriculture department engaged in non-agricultural employment, the rapid economic development and constantly improve the process of marketization, labor payrolls significantly improve the level of income for farmers, on the other hand, the outflow of Labour also brings some impact to rural development, one of the significant problem is the rural labor flow of gender differences to make significant changes have taken place in agricultural labor force in our country, a large number of male labor work, make women as the main body of agricultural labor, thus gave rise to the feminine phenomenon of agricultural labor force, the agricultural labor force structure on the female labor force's own development and the development of agriculture, rural areas will have a significant impact.From macro data, this article describes a phenomenon of feminization of agricultural labor force and analyzes reasons behind it. Then, based on microscopic survey data, an accurate evaluation of the phenomenon is made. In this process, the feminization of agricultural labor force is quantified to describe its present situation.Using descriptive statistics and econometric analysis, the article analyzes how this phenomenon has an impact on the agriculture. A conclusion is made and answers a question about whether the feminization is good for the development of agriculture.Recommendations in policies have been given, which will have important practical significance in increasing farmers' incomes and boosting the steady development of agricultural economy in Gansu province.
