It is chief goal of Education Bureau in elementary and middle schools which set up Information Technology curriculum and integrates Information Technology curriculum with other curriculum At the same time, They are also very important and undivided elements of Information Technology education According to the schedule of Education Bureau, Information Technology curriculum prevail in the whole state Under the situation, the current research and teaching method can not meet the practical requirement. The paper focuses on the information &technology classroom teaching method fields and has a systematic research achievement. In order to achieve the research task, the author uses the teaching model angle, through summarizing the previous research achievement, practical experience and analyzing existent problems, take the action research theory, literature research, observation and accessing methods.The paper can be divided into four parts. They are as follows. In introduction part, through expatiating the research background, actuality, significance and methodology, which indicate the paper is meaningful in four aspects, deepening Information Technology education and research, remedying research of classroom for information technology education , summing up the current information technology research achievement, strengthening information technology theory research, providing reference for improvement of information technology course teaching based on the current teaching practice; making teaching objectives more clear and improving accomplishment about IT for students .The first part of the paper provides a definition and orientation about information technology course of the elementary and middle school from different angles. Based on two layers (knowledge skill and ability accomplishment) and three characteristics (period, practice and synthesis), this part has discussion on the information technology course through explaining profound things in a simple way. On the other hand, the author expatiates clearly existing challenges on the current information technology teaching model from five aspects, that is:teaching objective, teaching object, the relation between teacher and student, the process of teaching and model selection.The second part of the paper puts forward basic features about the topic explore teaching model based on the topic explore teaching model concept and connotation explanation. The part also analyzes the basic feature on teacher actor, study style and relation between student and teacher. Furthermore, the paper defines the main theory basic on topic exploration teaching model and the theory of humanism.The third part has a design about the topic exploration teaching model on four aspects, that is: combining the teaching and learning, the teaching scene, cooperation study and study resource. Furthermore, the part points out the basic procedure of the topic exploration teaching model.The part has a principium research on practice on the elementary and middle school about the topic teaching model. The paper gives the two practice cases: searching information on web and town on the web, Furthermore, to summarize existing problems through two cases. It provides a good example for further teaching innovation.The last part summarizes positive harvest and some insufficient aspects of the paper...
