The alias of the portfolio assessment is pullulating log assessment. Portfolioassessment enregisters the student's pullulation , and offer the various material to studentsand teachers. It aims at showing the student's study and advancement, and promoting thestudents to make progress comprehensively. Now the exertion of the portfolio assessmentis still in experimentation. It's a question for discussion during the education in our country.The paper aims at revealing that how to use the portfolio assessment during the teachingpractice of the mathematics in middle education.Firstly, the paper expounds the background and the significance of the portfolioassessment at chapter 1.And at the chapter 2,the paper will introduce the correlativeknowledge like the concepts, the characteristic, the sorts, the function and the tenets etc ofthe student's learning portfolio. From the chapter 3 to the chapter 7,the paper will probeinto the application of the student's portfolio of the mathematics study. It includes thetheory and the practice. Chapter 8 will expound on the student's portfolio of themathematics learning. Finally, the paper will summarize the experience in the past study atthe chapter 9.Considering the characteristic of the mathematical disciplines in secondary education,the paper brings forward the demands to the mathematics learning portfolio's contents inthe part the empirical study. The paper also studies the problems of how to prescribe thecontents, the implementation of it, and how to evaluate it of the research learning, thecooperative learning and the reflection during the student's learning. For the future study ofthe education, the paper offers the standards and the method of the evaluation. It will be theframe of how to implement the portfolio assessment the in the mathematics teaching.
