At present our country is in the violent period of transformation, thepluralism in social life has already become the irreversible trend, whichconstantly makes people face the puzzlement of all kinds of moral conflict andmoral choice. The contemporary students of the Junior school who were bornafter the 1990s, stood up following the development of the economy of themarket. The students of the Junior school who are generally between 13 and 16years old is carrying out the transition from children to youth. The junior stage isthe key period for the moral development of the students of the Junior school.So their special age stage and special growth background have destined thedifference in the challenge and the circumstances in life between them and thestudents of the same age before. This generation growing up in the historicalcrack between new and old morals is not only a puzzled one but also thegeneration who make people extremely worry about, because we can see thesuperstrong vigor that surges on the students of this generation with the era'sdeveloping rapidly and a series of ethical questions the students of thisgeneration are more and more confused between good and evil, betweenbeautiful and ugly. This kind of moral concept is in disorder, which is extremelyapt to cause the wrong moral behavior, even make some students break into theline of the moral and crash into the bottom of crime. In the complicated andchangeable society, it has become the primary task of moral education for theschool to help the students to form the independent ability in moral judgementand moral choice. I think, the basic way of solving this kind of moral problemthoroughly lies in training the moral cognitive ability of the students of theJunior school. The cultivation of the cognitive ability of the Junior schoolstudents' morals is the important subject that the school can't evaded in moraleducation.How is the level of moral cognition of the contemporary students of theJunior school? What problems do they have in the respects of moral cognition?What influence the development of their ethical cognition? Whatcountermeasures and methods should we take to train the moral cognitive abilityof the students of the Junior school? Researching in this series of problems hasimportant theorical meaning and realistic meaning for us to do a good job ofmoral education. At the same time it can offer beneficial reference and basis forthe modern moral education extricating oneself from a plight too.
