Study On The Development Of The Kazak Minority's Education In Xinjiang Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture

Xinjiang Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture is located in the northwest frontier of China. In the development of the west and the full-scale construction of a moderarely well off society, the development of certain aspectsof society politics, economics and culture etc. is very significant. The development of education is closely linked to these aspects. Therefore, systematic study on the development of education in this prefecture is becoming more and more urgent. However, domestic studies on the Kazak minority are focused on its history, origin, language, literature, art, customs and so on.Studies on its education are not systematic or comprehensive.Especially, studies on the modern development of its education are very weak. As a result, the topic of this thesis is Study on the Development of the Kazak Minority' s Education in Xinjiang Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. By looking back at the history of the development of education and the social surveys done in the prefecture, the author who is glad about the progress made but concerned about further development intends to analyze the current situation of the development of education in the prefecture. The author also intends to suggest some effective solutions to develop modern education in Xinjiang Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. Though surveying, studing and analyzing, the author thinks the level of the development of education in the prefecture can be furthered by adjusting the educational model, reforming courses, reinforcing the trainings of teachers, applying internet education technology and developing the education of vocational technology.This thesis includes three parts:Part one is the background and the most difficult point of the study. It includes the Introduction and Chapter One . Thia part looks back at the history of the development of education of the Kazak minority from the 7th century B.C. until the 1990s A. D. It delineates the process of development of this minority.It also includes a brief bibiliography of the sources used and the studing situation so far. It constructs the topic , theme, system and characteristic of this thesis.Part two is the tangible study and only includes Chapter Two. It studies the current situation and the factors that have affected the development of education in Xinjiang Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture.Part three includes conclusions and further thoughts of the author based on the contents above.
