Abstract/Summary:
The scientific and effective classroom teaching evaluation plays a significant part in boosting the development of students, teachers and schools. In the context of the new curriculum, classroom teaching in common high schools requires relevant classroom teaching evaluation. Consequently, the classroom teaching evaluation in common high schools should establish the evaluation concept of "learning evaluating teaching, attaching importance to the evaluation process, prompt feedback and emphasizing particularly on development". It should adopt a diverse evaluation group consisting primarily of the teacher, teachers of the same subject, authoritative teachers of other subjects, school leaders and educationalists. It should be carried out in accordance with the three dimensional evaluation index system with teaching preparation, teaching implementation and learning efficiency as leading indices. The evaluation should be based on an organized ,planned and systematic observation of the teacher's and students' classroom activities and form an evaluation report which reflects feedback from all the related parties and serves as a guide for the continuous development of the teacher's expertise ,therefore also benefits students.
