EU (European Union) is a super-national social organization, converging manysovereign nations. In the background of European integration,converglization and culturaldiversity, EU education has taken three ideas as its mainstay, which are the human capital,developing European dimension and European citizenship education.EU education has four phases: initiation, foundation, expansion and consolidation phase.EU has carried out 2010 EU Education Strategy, which has strengthened the development ofEU education integration. EU education has adopted Education Action Programme andimplemented Socrates in general education and Leonardo in vocational education, in order todevelop European dimension, promote education mobility and cooperation, and encourageacademic recognition. The institutions of EU and national agencies implement educationprogrammes, and complying with the criterion the promoters apply to the actions and gain thegrants. With the budgets of education programmes, EU evaluates in the different phases ofprogrammes and designs the future of education.Being a brand-new and super-national shape, EU education appears into the world andprovides a lively example for other countries on the development of education nationalizationand globalization. From the elements of EU education, such as the aims, contents and forms,it tries to make the useful references to the challenge of globalization and commondevelopment of regional education in our country.
