Stepping into the 21st century, we enter a new stage of constructing a relatively comfortable society and advancing modernization .Education is faced with an unprecedented opportunity and challenge. So it has to develop further -enlarging the scale and enhancing the quality. Education has to be reformed because reform is the essential motive force of the development of it. The focus of the development and the reform of the education is to advance the quality-oriented education and to nurture more highly qualified personnels. The essence of the quality-oriented education is to develop the whole students overall and make them to be the qualified citizens who have the basic knowlege of science and culture. Physics is an important part of the quality of science and culture and also the foundation of the development of whole natural science and technology. The research approach to physics is useful to exploring nature. In addition, the basic knowlege and experimental skills that the students learned when they are in high school play a positive role in helping them adapt to the modern society and continue to learn science and technology.The object of physics in senior high school belongs to classical physics which includes mechanics, heat, electricity, optics, atomic physics. The main frame of the course in senior one is the knowlege in mechanics. So whether the students are good at learning phycics or not has a direct effect on their study in senior two and senior three. Compared with the physics learning in junior high schools ,physics learning in senior high school has a great improvement in contents, learning methods and ability required. So I made some research on this problem.Chapter one is to investigate and analyse the present situation of physics learning in senior one.Chapter two is to analyse the cause of the problem appearing in joining physics in junior high school and senior high school. The research covers the following aspects: psychological elements of the teachers and students, the arrangement of the teaching contents, the differences in physics, learning methods and syllabuses.Chapter three concerns the measures to solve the problems above. It emphasizes the non-intellectual elements, the study of definitions and regulations in physics, the method to learning physics and to improve their knowledge into ability.
