Evaluating effectively during class is an important way to improve the quality of education, and it is good for the students and the teachers. It is necessary for the implementation of the new curriculum. Starting from the history background of the class evaluation, the article analyzed the theory of the class evaluation, and expounded its idea. The author adopted some empirical research, such as classroom observation, conversation and questionnaires, to have a good grip of the changes and achievements made through the class evaluation under the new curriculum. At the same time, the author found shortages on its motive, object, standard and means. On the basis of analyses the causes of these shortages, and with the help of the evaluation of the new curriculum, the author gave his opinions about its value orientation, elements recognition, basic principles, and index systems. The author groped for the tactic of the class evaluation reconstruction, hoping that this article will be helpful for the pursuers and the teachers.
