For environmental protection, education is the foundation. The training of student's environmental awareness is the main goal and the basic task of basic education in China, and the geographical lesson of middle school is one of the key subjects which permeate the environmental education. How to improve student's environmental awareness in geographical education that is the urgent, arduous and important subject which geographical education faces.Based on document survey and questionnaire investigation research, the paper puts forth effort to discuss how to launch the environmental education in the geographical education of middle school, improve student's environmental awareness. The full paper can be divided into four major parts altogether:First part : Introduction, sum up the formulation , defines and intension of the environmental awareness concept mainly, summarize the development course of the domestic, foreign environmental education and the current situation of the environmental education studies of middle school , and point out that geographical education of middle school is an important way to improve student's environmental awareness, so the subject research has important meanings.Second part: Explain the purpose, method and result analysis of middle school student's environmental awareness investigation in Xiamen city.The third part : Put forward some measures to improve student's environmental awareness in the geographical education of middle school, namely fully pay attention to the geographical important function in improving student's environmental awareness of environmental education of middle school, hold the purpose and principle of education accurately, launch the environmental educational activities multiformly in multi-channels and many angles, strengthen the work of examination , set up the relevant complete network and ensure the measure , promote environmental educational work to deepen launching high-efficiently.The fourth part: Conclusion, sum up the main views of three parts above of the paper.
