The curriculum reform of the elementary education, which started at the beginning of this century, aims at building a new curriculum system of the elementary education which better meets the spirit of the times. And the shift of the functions of the new curriculum made it a new issue of great importance to exploit and utilize the curriculum resources.As a result, along the locus of the birth and development of the curriculum resources, this thesis analyzes in brief the significance that the progress of the society and the improvement of the curriculum consciousness have on the development and richness of the curriculum resources.Based on the understanding of the academic circles, this thesis to some degree makes a definition and explanation of the concept and characteristics of the Chinese curriculum resources in the light of the subject nature. Dating back to the transcending that the tradition has ever made to the Chinese curriculum resources and reflecting the misunderstanding that the practical utility has on them, the writer puts forward four basic principles of exploiting and utilizing the curriculum resources on the present stage.In the body part, this thesis analyzes in details the necessity and possibility of exploiting and utilizing the resources of students, Chinese teaching materials, families, local culture of Changzhou and Internet in three aspects: school resources, outside-school resources and network. It also provides some teaching cases timely in correspondence, and tries to offer sufficient theory preparation and ways of practice to the concrete Chinese teaching.Meanwhile, to exploit and utilize the Chinese curriculum resources, teachers are required to break through their traditional inertia, train and improve their own abilities of selecting, combining and bridging the Chinese curriculum resources; while the schoolmasters' recognition of rationales and preparation of management system, as well as the coordination and the cooperation between the members in the Chinese teaching and research groups will undoubtedly facilitate the exploiting and utilization of the Chinese curriculum resources.
