Bullying is pervasive in primary and middle schools. Because it is seriously harmful to one's health physically and psychologically, many researchers have devoted to this field, In China, some researchers have begun to paid attention to this problem since 1999, but most research just put emphasis on questionnaire investigation and data collection. Little attention has been given to intervention except one study.In this thesis, junior high school students are used to be research object. Since bullying is viewed as a group phenomenon, the intervention methods mainly targeted on the whole peer group.Conclusions of the paper are the following:I The intervention has greatly improved students' attitude toward bullying; On the behavior aspect, significant difference existed on the subscale of victimization in one school. These imply that the intervention is effective to counter bullying.II In this study, bullying is viewed as a group phenomenon. Based on the theory of social context model and of social learning and social role, the intervention method focused on the change of attitude toward bullying and the realization of their participant role among bullying episode and it is practicable.
