A Focusing Study On Strengthening The Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

Comrade Jiang Zemin has emphasized in the central ideological and political work conference, "the world is now taking a profound change, while China is now reforming to develop and perfect socialism system. Facing new situation, we should on one hand inherit and exert our remarkable traditions, meanwhile we should make innovations and improvements in many respects on the other hand, including content, form, means, method, mechanism, etc. Particularly we should make effort to strengthen times sense, focalization, utility and initiative." As colleges aim at nurturing constructors and successors of socialism cause, who have a full—scale development in moral, intelligent and physical aspects, should analyze discuss the new situation and tendency of the ideological and political education work, which means they should approach the reality, life and students, systematically using education theory and method to expand education.
