Since 1960s, with the awareness of large-scale immigration and national consciousness of minorities, some developed western countries have set off a tide of continuous and widespread multiculturalism. And the tide aimed to solve two challenges that human beings confront. One is how to understand and handle the relationship between conflict and harmony caused by globalization and pluralism of national culture. The other is how to deal with the problem of country faces. By globalization and pluralism of conflict and harmony with respect to state's unity and pluralism of national culture that multinational country faces.By various methods of document analysis and inquiry, this study tries to take the multiculturalism as the basic research perspective, then describes and explains bilingual teaching of the Lancang Lahu nationality systematically and profoundly. Besides, it puts forward corresponding suggestions and measures. La-han bilingual teaching is an important part of multicultural education, which is the embodiment of cultural generality and diversity as well as an effective way by which our country builds the harmonious society and keeps sustainable development of the society. Taking case study as one way of bilingual teaching research, it attempts to establish a reflective terrace in terms of theories and practice of bilingual teaching. And it also offers a kind of thought and reference on solving two challenges that human beings confront.This dissertation consists of five parts.
