Graduates, the hopes of our nation, are considered to be the valuable talent in our country. Their employment is closely related to the universities'developments and social stability as well as the economic advancement of our country. Being one province of western exploitation, Guangxi should positively makes full use of the talent as this can play an important role in advancing the process of its economic modernization and building a harmonious society. Nowadays, our country has gradually enlarged the scale of student enrollments in order to adapt the development of market economy. It has true for Guangxi. As a result, the number of graduates has been improved every year. But the social posts haven't been added correspondently. Besides, due to some other factors, the employment of graduates has become a serious problem, which has attracted the extensive social attentions. It is noted that the employment of graduates is not only a comprehensive economy problem but also a complicated social issue. On one hand, it has brought many difficulties to the ideological and political education of students. On the other hand, it has produced some negative effects for social stability. In order to solve this prominent problem, government begins to focus on the employment of graduates and universities also help students find jobs in many ways. Even graduates themselves have been trying to improve their comprehensive qualities. Therefore, being the theory researchers, we should take actions trying to concern and find some solutions to this problem and that is just the purpose and reason why this paper chooses the employment of graduates in Guangxi as the research topic. This paper, not only surveyed the job objectives of the Guangxi students graduated in 2004, but also collected a number of data through reading the relevant material in recent 5 years. Then, under the principle of combing theory and practice, it made a research on the present situation of national employment of graduates as well as the problem particularly appeared in Guangxi province with the method of sociology and social statistics theories. At the same time, it also investigated and analyzed the reason of employment problem. Furthermore, it worked out some ways and means to cope with it. And the whole research process is made up of 4 parts. Part one is the general introduction to the employment theories. It firstly presents the achievements of western employment theories. Second, it discusses the enlightenments gained from those theories above. Furthermore, it expounds Marxist employment theory and the history of graduates'employment in China as well as its present employment system's influence. Second part, I have described the overall situation that the graduates of Guangxi obtain employment and subject matter existing mainly: First of all, overall situation and subject matter that the graduates in Guangxi obtain employment: Describe my higher education personnel training situation in the district and overall trend that the graduates of my district obtain employment in recent years in recent years. Secondly, the positive research of the employment problems of graduates in Guangxi is like the subject matter existing in employment: Student obtain employment expected value to be too high university specialty offered unreasonable, the professional knowledge wears out, do not meet the needs of social development, being uncompleted in careers guidance, school obtain employment the information feedback is not unblocked, every professional student obtains employment unevenly, a few specialty obtain employment difficult, society is it disturb to air-drying positive, obtain employment competition to be unfair. In Part three, this paper fatherly analyzes the reason of employment problem. The reason can be found form 4 perspectives: economical, social, universities and graduates, etc…Part four is about the solutions. On one hand, it is concerning with the present policy of employment in Guangxi. On the other hand, it comes up with some solutions to the employment problem of graduates here.
