Narrative Research

"Narration" is one type of literature originally which means to tell, express and appear the complicated story. Narrative research of education refers to do educational research by means of "Narrative" . Narrativists believe that human' s experience is basically storized, And then, they think that one of the best way of education research is to make people find and understand education and its own deep-meaning by narrating and analyzing the educational experience. It is "Narrative research" . "Narrative research" has profound content and various way of study and so it obtains advantages which other methods else couldn' t replace: "it takes root on daily teaching experience, bases its methodology on qualitative research, founds its theoretical foundation on reflective teaching theory, takes the researcher itself as the tool of study and adopt the "from-bottom-to-top" way to study. And then, researchers could introspect constantly in the course of narrative so as to resume the rational thinking of teaching affairs and construct the understanding and explanation to education furtherly" . This method not only offers a democratic and cooperative area but also guarantees the value and effectiveness of research so as to contribute to improve the teacher' s ability of research. "Narrative research" becomes a dark horse and paid close attention by the society just because of this.
