On Thinking Training In Reading Teaching

Mordern Chinese teaching has developed hundreds of years. As we all know, it has got great achievement — motive the development and mature of the course. However, to be frank, some serious weak points has appeared — especially lacking of thinking training students.This shortcomings has been aroused all kinds of field's attention. Some medias has questioned and critized our Chinese teaching, some even censured that it mislead the youth.Facing these critize and censure, what should Chinese teacher do? First we should keep calm and rethinking profoundly. With so many years teaching experience, we believe that the test—based education which has developed more and more popular is the potential reason of this malpractice. The standardized test have caused the students' losing of their sense of arising questions, desending abilily of imagination and creations, under the presure of standardized answers, the students are just partoting what the teachers teach. What's more the teachers' education thoughts is another reason of the malpractice. According to traditional education, whether the students have creative thinking doesn't matter. The only thinking the teachers require is that the students can memorize and understand what the they teach and what the texts say.The reading teaching should entirely reverse the situation. The fast developiryt era, the swift renewing of the knowledge require a more attention to the training of the students thinking, to let students dare to say "no" to the authority, to came up with their own creative thoughts, to let their thinking fly as the flowers coming out, to let their intelligence develop on all the aspects.In order to get the ideal effect of thinking training, the Chinese teachers are required to use of the principles of the modern phycology and pedagogy, deeply stimulate the students' intrests of training, strenghten their motive of practising, cultivate their excellence thinking quality, and strengten their sense of arising questions. And at the same time, the Chinese teacher shouldhave a good knowledge of the demands the new standards of the course. Using the "three demension " to guide the reading teaching, advocating categorized reading, and focusing on guiding the thinking training to students only by this way, thinking training will be practical and effective.
