Research On The Sustainable Development Of Non-government Higher Education In Shaanxi Province

Non-government higher education is the very important part of Chinese higher education system and devotes so much to Chinese education. The paper chooses the Non-government higher education of Shaanxi province as the researching area.As we all know, these private colleges in Shaanxi developed more quickly than ones in any other province during the past ten years. The author discusses the developing process , the current condition and problem ,and also the tendency on Non-government higher education in Shaanxi province. The author hopes to offer some good suggestions and useful references to Shaanxi province government and every private college.In author's view, in order to achieve the sustainable development of Shannxi non-governmental higher education, The followed things should be done: 1.The non-government higher school should establish the board of directors system to overcome the shortcoming of traditional" household type" managing mode in order to realize the management democratization and systemize; 2.The non-government higher school should attract more young talents and scholars to be their teaching staff.,and form a appropriate proportion between full-time teachers and part-time teachers; 3. The Shaanxi Province and Xi'an municipal governments should pay more attention to private colleges social efficiency and influences and set up a impartial environment between non-governmental colleges and government universities; 4.The government should reinforce education lawmaking continuously and carry out various policies and laws on non-governmental education thoroughly; 5. Medi-system should be take into non-government higher education management system. The system can undertake criterion, inspect, the policy research, information consults instead of government and build a bridge between them.
