Based on the current situation of Obesity, this paper has proved that the effect of weight loss by water aerobics is more remarkable than by aerobics on land. There was an experiment to be designed and the physiological mechanism of water aerobics was discussed in order to provide scientific guidance for the fat people to lose weight.With the development and advancement of our society, people think much more of life quality, more and more people go to exercise. Water aerobics is a new sport in China, which happens in water .Because of the physical characters for example stress , buoyancy , resistance , heat disperser and so on , water aerobics will have different effect on body physiological mechanism than aerobics on land. By using the methods of literature review, questionnaire, experiment and statistics , it has proved that water aerobics is scientific ,feasible and efficient to lose weight by comparing and analyzing the effect of weight loss in water and on land.A sample of two classes. 40 teachers ranging in age from 33 to 49 participated inthis project. They are randomly divided into class in water and class on land .then it proceed 12 weeks making use of different aerobics ,at the same time controlling diet on part samples , We found the following results:(1) The effect of weight loss in water is remarkable .it can efficiently decrease the body fat and body round, change the distributing of the body fat, reduce the deepness of TG and TC.(2) It is more effective to exercise in water than on land if you want to lose weight. All the body rounds, body round index number and TG remarkably changed, waistline, stern line, calf line, waist index number, stern index number changed very remarkably. TG had no remarkable change.(3) If controlling diet, the effect of weight loss is more remarkable to exercise in water than on land. Body index body, index number and biochemistry index had more remarkable change.(4) To lose weight by water aerobics is feasible and efficient, if assisting controlling diet, the effect will be better.
