All over the world, moral education always has the contradiction between teachers' value instruction and learning agents' autonomous construction. In moral education of schools, educators' sermon, infusion and compulsory obedience, lead to alienation of teachers and students and low effect on moral education. Students could not form a good moral integrity by memorizing "knowledge on morality". In author's opinion, edification education, this old but eternal way of education, is the effective means of solving quandary in moral education. Therefore, this thesis chooses edification education for further study, hoping to provide more strategies for moral education and practice as reference. This thesis consists of five parts, through reading literature, historical method and summarizing method. The first part is about the general recognition of edification education, which explains the connotation, characteristics and functions of edification education and internal cause of morality changes in it. The second part makes clear of thread of thoughts in Chinese and foreign education history. The third part further analyzes edification education in terms of philosophy, psychology and sociology of morality. The following part designs practice strategies of edification education, in terms of four dimensions emotional edification, situational edification, and behavioral edification and appreciation edification. The last part points out some problems while in implementing edification education, which provides beneficial reference for effective practice of edification education. The achievements of this thesis lie in the comprehensive analysis, carding and construction of edification education. The creative part lies in explicit analysis of relevant theories concerning edification education and for the first time this thesis analyzes the internal cause of moral changes in edification education. |
