Abstract: The teaching of the open-end problem has been a main issue since 1990s . It has become a widely-known word in the teaching field. But at present, the research focus more on the design of the open-end problem, the evluation of the problem and the mathematics problem in examination . Whether it can be used in our mainstream mathematics teaching? How to practise the kind of approach ? How will the psychological response of the teachers and the students be ? we need further study on these.The solution of the mathematics open-end problem is a process with assimilation and accommodation but it more give rise to the accommodation. Such the accommodation surely gives cumulative effect. The cumulative effect will give rise to the impact of transfer so it can help learners to solve more complicated problem. The open-end problem is similarly with the spreading thinking in its connotation. So the instruction of the open-end problem can effectively promote the spreading thinking in forming and enhancing for the learners My main work carry the mathematics open-end problem into convention teaching in my article and regarding it as an entrance to practise the open-ended teaching . In research of the open-ended teaching I pay more attention to the research of practice . I study the open-ended teaching following respects :1.Making use of the open-end problem, carrying out the research of practice on the open-ended teaching following four respects: (1) The method of making the mathematics open-end problem . (2) The strategy of designing the open-end problem . (3)The strategy of instructing on the open-ended teaching by taking the open-end problem.(4)The educational value of carrying out the open-ended teaching by taking the open-end problem.2.Further developing on the open-ended teaching following the next three respects:(1)Put forward question .(2)The exploring of specific experimentation.(3) The preliminary effect of the teaching The research on the mathematics open-ended problem correspond with the basis thought of the new curriculum and the demand of the quality education and the new tendency of the mathematical curriculum reform in new century.About the method of research ,I mainly take following the method : cases and the analyzing literature and comparison and investigation and conversation and interview etc .In my article I use a lot of cases to analyse and demonstrate problem and strive to combine theory with practice. |
