On Aesthetics' Role In College Students' Character Forming

Aesthetic education plays an important role in quality-oriented education for college students, and it is indispensable to the development of their personality. This article mainly discusses the assignment of aesthetic education and characteristics of personality from Marxist point of view, and analyses their appearance in college students nowadays. Furthermore, the article illustrates its effect on the development of their personality through its influence on morals forming, inspiration to creativity, integrating perception and rational faculty, and consummation of mentality. Finally, it probes into its implementation in education at home, in the school and in the society.
