With the seniors' allocation systems reformed and the policy of enrollment extension of the institutions of higher learning carried on, the problem of college-students' employment has been drawing increasingly attention of the society. While the employment information getting more and more important, the dearth of information demand has become a bottle neck which limits the college-students' employment. In this thesis, a deep research has been developed on the problem of college-students' employment by means of factor analysis from a special angle of information demand. Therefore, this research is of a high theoretical value and practical significance.According to the principles of psychometrics, this thesis has made a structural questionnaire about the demand of Changsha-area college-students' employment information, by deep interview, questionnaire investigation and factor analysis and through investigating more than 1300 samples selected from the subjects-the college students studying in Changsha. The testimony of reliability and validity has shown that both the reliability and validity of the questionnaire meet the requirement of psychometrics.Based on questionnaire investigation, the thesis has ascertained a model of the demand of college-students' employment information, structured by three levels and sevenfactors by exploratory factor analysis. The seven types of information are information about the units' basic situations, information about employment required skills, information about humanistic atmosphere, information about the regulations and policies, information about job positions, information about the agreement between employees and positions as well as information about employment requirement. These sorts of information can be categorized into three levels-information of individuals, information of organizations and information of the society. Confirmatory factor analysis presents that this theoretical model meets well with the variables in the investigation and that the structure is reasonable.Furthermore, based on the seven kinds of information, the thesis has made an exploratory analysis on the investigation result and made an explaining thought. It also has given some relative suggestions to the departments and people related to the college-students' employment, and has provided a new way of resolving the problem of college-students' employment. |
