The swift development of the Web-information Technology with multimedia computer, Internet,Virtual Reality as its core has brought strong shock and influence on education, it also offers new opportunities. People begin to realize that Web-information Technology has profound influences on instruction model. Teachers must confront the situation, comply with the new characteristic of society, and apple positively Web-information Technology into innovation instruction.At present, spreading the information-technology teaching is one of the focuses of the teaching reform of the higher education, especially on the utilization of Internet, and so, the general attention of the teachers is drawn upon the full use of the network-technology, the organic combination of both information-technology and subject courses and fulfilling of the task of teaching utilizing the existing information network but without breaking away from traditional classroom teaching. According to this situation, adopted the method of literature study and case of human geography course , this thesis pays attention on establishing Web-based instruction mode of human geography course.The thesis is made up of five parts. Part one is an introduction on the backgrounds, significations, status and study contents of topic. Part two, according to and also based on the learning theory of constructivism , the theory of Learning and Teaching by Osubell and subject educational idea , expatiates the theoretic basement of Web-based instruction. Comparing the characters of traditional classroom instruction with that of Web-based instruction, part three makes a circumscription for the new teaching model. Based on the concept of Web-based instruction and the characters of human geography course, Part four defines the teaching target and principle, tries to establish the collaborative problem-based learning mode of human geography course under Internet environment and brings forward some teaching strategies and proposals , which is the most essential of the thesis itself. Exemplifying the teaching unit of human geography course, part five designs the teaching unit plan and provides some relevant cases, for the application of Web-based instruction mode .
