The Study On Web-based And Problem/Project-based Collaborative Learning And Its Supporting Environment Design

Research learning is one of the important fields for application of collaborative learning. Carrying out the collaborative research learning could change the learning manner, promote the variety of teacher's teaching manner, and cultivate the innovative spirit, collaborative and practical ability of students. The developments of computer multimedia and network technology provide a powerful material supporting platform for the research on the research learning in IT background. More and more people accept the collaborative Research learning in web-based environment.How to carry out collaborative research learning in web-based environment and exert usage of collaborative learning in research learning are very important, so we combine the advantages of Problem/Project-based Learning with web-based collaborative learning in order to resolve the problem in the application of web-based inquiry learning mode in research learning. We also construct an effective practical mode--Web-CPBL learning mode which develops collaborative research learning in web-based environment. Based on database technology and design theory of web–based collaborative learning supporting environment, we design and develop a Problem/Project - based Learning on web-based environment platform, provide effective supporting environment for student to share the web learning resource, real-time response teacher-student communication and collaboration, reasonable effective estimate and form an integrative web platform. It provides the theoretical and practical research platform for the development of research on collaborative research learning in web-based environment.The paper concludes four parts:In the first part, we study the application of inquiry learning mode and Problem/Project-based Learning mode in web-based environment, and analyzes the main problem existing in the development of research learning in web-based environment, show the necessity of this paper. In the second part we discuss the theory of Problem/Project-based Learning and web-based collaborative learning, propose the Web-CPBL learning mode which effectively combined the advantages of Problem/Project-based Learning with web-based collaborative learning fits for the development of research learning's effective practical mode in web-based environment and discuss its connotation and character. With that, we conclude the design theory and principle of this mode.In the third part, we construct Problem/Project-based Learning mode in web collaborative learning, then discuss the design of five main section of this mode.
