On the basis of theoretically practical work closely related to the problems and corresponding strategies of using IT (information technology) in teaching in Gansu Normal Schools. This research paper has adopted different kinds of forms such as: collecting documents, conversations, interviews and questionnaires, concluded the problems and corresponding strategies of using IT (information technology ) in teaching in Gansu Normal Schools, analyzed the factors influencing teachers' IT teaching, managed to explore the existing problems, and found out the relative strategies and suggestions. This paper consists of four parts as follows:Part one : A statement of the background, significance, purpose and way of thinking and research.Part two : The investigation from field work.. This part has been expanded based on a questionnaire of IT teachers' deployment, IT resource situation, the sensing abilities of IT teachers, the courses offered to IT teaching , the situation of IT teachers ' using IT resource, further training of teachers, and info-achievement of students.Part three : The factors influencing teachers' practical use of IT teaching include two parts : subjective and objective , thereafter this part also has made a comprehensive analysis on the result of questionnaires.Part four : strategies and suggestions have been illustrated in accordance with the elements influencing the teachers' efficient IT teaching.
