| The process attribute is an intrinsic attribute of the curriculum. It indicates the existence of curriculum as a process while process is very important for curricular activity. Up till now, there is no explicit reference to the process attribute. And people tend to analyze curriculum with the mode of two poles: tool and humanity. They have put too much emphasis on the goal, program and result in curriculum activity so that they have ignored the current situation of the intrinsic value of the process. In view of those problems, this thesis mainly analyzes the process attribute of curriculum, its value and the requirements for its realization. The acquaintance with curriculum is a bridge for the children to their possible life. Children's development is a process. We must pay attention to their dynamic development, their individualities and their needs in everyday life. The curriculum is provided with process attribute. We should pay attention to the relationship in the process and reconstruct the relationship between the students and external world. And the implementation of curriculum is a process of pursuing understanding between teachers and students.This thesis can be divided into three parts.In the first part, the author puts forward the process attribute. First, he points out the importance of the research on curriculum attribute. Then though the analysis of the concept of curriculum; the implementation of curriculum and the innovation of curriculum, the author declares that the process attribute of curriculum is an objective reality and the mode of two poles can not fulfill the needs of the analysis of curriculum attribute. Lastly, the author points out that the conversion of the curriculum outlook requires us to put emphasis on the process of curricular activity. So, the process attribute is on the same level as tool attribute and humanity attribute.The second part analyzes the process attribute of curriculum. First, it tries to sort out the curriculum as a process and explains the connotation of processattribute. Then it analyzes curriculum from the angle of process philosophy and postmodernist philosophy. Then it sums up the characteristic of curriculum as "ontic process" and "relation process": laying emphasis on dynamic production, transformation, development, subject, intersubjectiviry and understanding.The third part is about the realization of the value of process attribute. The methods are: building up the outlook of process curriculum, advocating the paradigm of process research, adjusting the structure of curriculum, and consummating curriculum design and its implementation. The process curriculum outlook looks upon curriculum from the view of process development. It points out that the meaning of curriculum should be its return to the children's life world, the advocation of the paradigm of process research, and the emphasis on the research of the intrinsic value of the process. Finally, it analysis the value of process attribute in curriculum construction and implementation which mainly includes the adjustment of curriculum structure, the consummating of curriculum design and its implementation. |
