The exercises and activities in Chinese textbook is a practical activity of students' study and applying Chinese knowledge skills, it is the activity of students knowing the world and experiencing life and forming the correct value sense with the help of language. Because of the important significance in Chinese textbook and the value and function which can't be substituted, it makes its reform have great meanings in Chinese curriculum reform and Chinese textbook reform.From the 20's of last century, Chinese exercises and activities have started to be complied into the textbook as a structural factor, the patterns of Chinese exercise are continuously various, its contents are constantly plentiful and the value of designing exercise activity pursuing is continuously changing, at first helping students understand textbook and checking assignments, then pursuing Chinese skills system, at last pursuing enlighten students' quality comprehensively.Under systematic training theory, Chinese textbook exercises and activities designing confined students' thinking, made students lose subjectivity. Under the guidance of Chinese exercises and activities further theory research and Chinese curriculum standards, Chinese textbook exercises and activities designing takes place greatly, it displays the following four aspects: 1. Reduce the training of words, sentences and paragraphs, emphasize students' whole realization and comprehension to the textbook. 2. Emphasize the accumulation and application, emphasize the training of basic skills, let students make a firm Chinese foundation; 3. Respect students' subjectivity and their own opinions, allow students understand the textbook multi-dimension; 4. From single requirements and the integration of emphasizing listening, speaking writing and reading, emphasize the diversity of students' studying style.In order to promote the whole development of students' Chinese quality, Chinese textbook designers, first analyze the object task, establish a reasonableexercise series, moreover make a type analysis and practical survey to Chinese exercise, to compile Chinese textbook exercise with different and various styles.The reform of Chinese textbook exercises and activities is far from being over, there are lots of problems in the current textbook exercise, it need us further explore and hard work.
