Effects Of Family Parenting Pattern Of Bullying In School

In this investigation , 1100 students of grade 2 in middle school, with approximately equal number of boys and girls,from five middle schools in Shanghai City participated. Our aim is to know how the family parenting pattern can influence the bullies ,victims and children not involved.The results of data analysis were as follows. (1)there are 190 students participated aggression,130(13.8%)are victims,and 60(6.8%)are bullies. (2)Chi-square test indicated that in both bullies and victims,boys are more than girls,especially the difference is significant for bullies. (3)One-way AVOVA indicated all mother's parenting factors influence the bullies status ,but only some of father's factors influnence bullies status. (4)T test indicated the factors of parenting style are different in gender.
