Context is the abbreviation of linguistic and speech situation. In the field of modern linguistics, the status and value of context-study is becoming more and more important. In my Opinion, Context is the surrounding on which language relies to express something correctly and to understand the outer world, and may contain Macro and Micro context. It is a valuable way to improve the students' Chinese level of competence by adapting context knowledge into the Chinese teaching. In this thesis, I analyze the requirement of Chinese teaching that dues to competence teaching; emphasize on how to combine context knowledge with language knowledge and reading comprehension teaching; do some research on how to nourish the students' context consciousness and how to establish effective teaching context.
