Research Into The Inquiry Reading Method In Language Teaching

Based on constructivism and inquiry teaching theory, The inquiry reading method in language teaching was investigated and practiced in order to overcome the drawback of traditional reading method which is lack of inquiry.This paper mailing analyzed the conditional construction of inquiry reading method and actual classroom teaching . In language study , it prerequisite to encourage students to read with inquiry in mind .The model structure of inquiry reading method , characteristics and actural application in classroom teaching were also presented with the instance .It concluded that inquiry teaching method has wide and deep potential in classroom teaching practice. Today more and more teachers adopt inquiry reading method in their language teaching reform practice.
