With the development of information technology, and with the gradual application and prevalence of computer and network in every aspect of society, the process of native educational information has already been accelerated. The conformity of mathematics curricula and information technology has become a new trend in the future development of mathematics courses. Take an outstanding example for the conformity. It has been put forward, in Standard of Normal Nigh School Mathematics Curriculum (Experiment), that the required courses have included the scope of algorithm.The algorithm is the theoretical core of computer science. In the modern society, computer has become an indispensable tool of daily life and work. Computer has to depend on the algorithm to solve any problem. Algorithm is the basis of computer science, and there is no computer without algorithm. Algorithm is added to the courses so as to improve the capability of coping with and solving the problems logically for students, and to comprehend the algorithm ingredients of the computer language, which is the basic requirement of the information era for men with highly mathematical attainment. Algorithm also has an important role in the mathematical education, and represents the important thoughts and main characteristics of the Chinese ancient mathematics. Therefore, for Standard of Normal Nigh School Mathematics Curriculum (Experiment), the required courses have included the scope of algorithm, in the meantime subjects have been set to the required courses corresponding to Chinese Ancient Mathematical Gem and Process of Algorithm Thoughts, etc.Algorithm is newly added contents to the mathematic course in our country, so there is no ready-made experiences for reference in practical teaching. This approach hopes to explore the teaching practice of algorithm by means of visit and talk, measurement and teaching experiment, etc. Eventually we can provide some references and suggestions for implementing Standard of Normal Nigh School Mathematics Curriculum (Experiment) and new courses.During the research, through consulting several information and visiting some experts and teachers involved into standard establishment and algorithm experiment, we have explored the meaning of adding algorithm to courses and have briefly compared some algorithm teachings among several powerful countries. We have compiled reference books to helpteaching practice and utilized self-made questionnaires to give comparative tests for the students. At last the conclusions include:Firstly, teaching practices and tests indicate that knowledge background of students doesn' t distinctly influence the learning of algorithm. Because of improvement of students' grades and faculties, it has demonstrated that pushing algorithm into mathematical course of high school possesses feasibility and necessity.Secondly, the two aspects, interest tropism of students and pertinence between interest and grade, have been studied. Through questionnaire, interview and classroom observation, we found interesting points of students lie in interest and application sides, and at the same time there is no remarkable relativity between interests and grades. Study shows that students have not formed exact and complete cognition about mathematics. Their learning fashions are used to be passive acceptance. They would not take part in the study initiatively, so they lack of principal consciousness, creative methods and practical capability. Otherwise, there exists some problems in educational appreciation means and settings and arrangements of course contents. According to these problems, the present paper gives corresponding analysis and suggestions.Thirdly, main difficulties and corresponding causes in the period of study have been investigated and studied. The survey questionnaires showed that Personal Interest, Teacher' s Teaching Style, Examination Effect and Curricula Selection are all the main reasons why students feel difficult in learning.
