Personal all-round development is the perpetual pursuit of mankind. Karl Marx interpreted the theory of personal all-around development scientifically and roundly from the points of view of his times. He thought personal all-round development was a constant and endless history process. In the report of 16th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, the Party defined the advance of personal all-around development as the important aim of the realization of the middle-class-family society. On that history premise, it is meaningful to discuss the all-round development of modern college students. College students ' all-round development has been the goal of higher education. Undoubtedly, the "two-course" teaching with the emphasis of moral education plays a very important role.The "two-course" teaching refers to Marxist theory course and moral quality course in higher education. Its aim is to give college students systematic Marxist basic theory education, moral quality education and legal system education, to develop college students ' fine political consciousness and moral quality. The "two-course" teaching is the main channel of moral education in universities. Nowadays, with the moral education weakened, the function and value of the "two-course" teaching are more and more questioned and censured. So many people think it is not very important whether to give the "two-course" teaching or not. With the Marxist theory of personal all-round development, the essay tries to dissect the deep significance of college students ' all-round development, analyzes the nature, position and function of the "two-course" teaching, demonstrate the important role the "two-course" teaching plays in college students ' all-round development, and makes a deep and concrete probe about the theoretical and practical structure of that the "two-course" teaching exerts its function effectively.
