At the beginning of this century, the social political economic development permeates through education completely, bringing the education reform new lesson and challenge. Each main prosperous nation pays much attention to education reform that is based on basic education . The new curriculum sense makes a point of basic ability exaltation, information attainments cultivation, creative and open thought development, emphasize valuable and moral education, respect students' experience, develop students' personality. This brings a challenge to us.In the course of the performance of quality education, we must adapt our teaching to the colorful social life, make full use of the students' life experience to arouse the students' interest in biology lessons, lead them to study by themselves and explore actively. All these jobs will greatly promote the renewal of our views on teaching and learning, the reform of the curriculum, the improvement of teaching method and the exaltation of the students' biology attainments.The investigation has been made, combing questionnaire with interview in five schools of Hubei and Henan successively. Conclusions were drawn preliminarily.(1) The interest to them are reading material, knowledge connecting with society, column consideration, biology experiments, research subject, exercises in order. They have little interest in theoretical knowledge, such as Physiology, Biochemistry, Regulation and Evolution. Studying interest relates to youngsters' psychological characteristics, the selection of teaching content and teachers' pedagogics. (2)There is a discrepancy between key school and common school in learning Biology. Students' interest related to their aim and school environment.Now I put forward 8 suggestions based on the analogs to stir students' interest in study, which are as follows: 1. Make teaching materials various; 2.Bring the initiative of the teachers and students into full play in course resources exploiting. 3.Improve the method of biology teaching. 4. Perform opening exercises. 5. Reform experiment and emphasize exploring.6.Increase the quantity of reading material. 7.Enhance the utility of column consideration. 8. Make the class lively and interesting. |
